La Haba

La Haba is a municipality located in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura. This area has been occupied since Roman times up to the present day, as evidenced by the archaeological study of the different levels of occupation.

The foundation of the current locality dates back to the 14th century as a result of the repopulations that occurred after the Reconquista. During the 16th and 17th centuries, La Haba benefited from the American conquest, in which 13 inhabitants of the locality participated.

In the 19th century, after the fall of the Ancien Régime, it became a constitutional municipality.
